Previous artistic activities

  • Guitar concerts in Finland and abroad (incl. Italy, Estonia, Wales)
  • Guitar of Silence concert series around Finland 2007–2009
  • The Best Bellybutton in the World – a dance fairy tale for children, premiered in 2011 with performances 2011–2014 (based on Hannele Huovi’s book of the same name, choreography by Mirja Tukiainen, dancer and narrator Anna-Kaisa Hirvanen, musician and narrator Olli Hirvanen)
  • Story Massage workshops in kindergartens with Anna-Kaisa Hirvanen, 2015–2016
  • Stars from the Fur Sleeve – a work of sound and movement together with Elina Wuethrich, premiered in 2017
  • Co-producing The Hot Box online art space with Elina Wuethrich and Sami Kotola 2018–2021, and working in some productions as a musician and composer
  • A Due recording: new Finnish music inspired by Finnish poetry, released in 2022 (Pilfink Records). Featuring Johanna Venho (recitation), Johanna Suvenmetsä (née Kärkkäinen), flute & Olli Hirvanen, guitar
  • A Due concert tour in Central Finland 2022–2023, as well as performance at the Tampere Biennale 2023
