In 2023 I performed in concert with the Ukrainian countertenor Stanislav Kriuchkov. In spring 2024 I performed at the Tampere Biennale together with Johanna Suvenmetsä and Johanna Venho.
In June 2022 the recording A Due was released. It contains first recordings of Finnish compositions for flute and guitar, as well as Finnish poetry read by writer Johanna Venho. The album features works by Kai Nieminen, Albert Lenkiewicz, Ilkka Hammo, Olli Hirvanen, Sauli Zinovjev, and Artturi Rönkä, all inspired by the texts of Finnish poets (Hannele Huovi, Johanna Venho, Kai Nieminen, Mirkka Rekola, Johanna Kärkkäinen). Together with singer Suvi Uura I founded the ensemble Duo Palo in 2023. We create music that is a versatile and original blend of flamenco, folk, and classical music. Our pieces take the listener deep into a world of emotions and shifting landscapes, while reflecting the beauty and drama of the Finnish seasons.
